The La Fortuna Waterfall – This treasure is located just 3.2 km from Hotel Vagabondo, so you can either take the short taxi ride or even walk. The beautiful cascade emerges from the dense tropical rainforest and falls 200 feet (65 meters) into the refreshing river below. You can either choose to admire it from the observation deck above, or hike down the 455 steps and take a refreshing swim. The entrance fee is $10 and all proceeds are used to maintain La Fortuna schools, roads, and other necessities.
